Tom Gerry has 39 years experience as a proven team leader, salesperson, consultant, entrepreneur, speaker and author. He has broad experience in marketing, sales, implementations and training. Tom managed application development projects of shrink wrapped and semi-custom financial institution software.
Tom has been a client and has collaborated on consulting engagements with Resource Management Associates for over 25 years.
Tom founded three consulting businesses and a technology company- one reached $20 million in sales. He led the creation of a performance advisory services group to enhance technology ROI and improve processes at banks and credit unions. He has published a book on payments innovations being applied for profit improvement and competitive advantage in businesses, non profits, and community financial institutions.
He has leadership skills in setting strategic direction and creating winning competitive campaigns – one company achieved #1 national ranking in branch automation. He has helped early stage companies build business plans, projection models and private placement offerings resulting in multiple rounds of venture investment.
Tom has excellent communication skills – he has authored many white papers, been quoted in industry publications, created and delivered seminars and a webinar series, and made speeches at national and regional conventions.
Besides leadership roles at several startup companies, and starting a business unit of Harland Clarke, Tom worked with Kirchman, Systeme Corporation, Citicorp Information Resources, Financial Data Systems, Boeing Computer Services, and Citizens & Southern Bank in Atlanta.
Tom is an honors graduate of the University of Florida with a BSBA in Finance and Banking.
